This lovely family home needed just a little bit of help to get ready to go on the Market. Initially a plan was put together to declutter and cull, and to depersonalise the home, so that potential buyers could see themselves living in the property.
My clients then had a few weeks work through the plan and to get ready for market. I had some great furniture and art to work with in this home, including the the gorgeous teal velvet sofa and ottoman pictured in the open plan kitchen and dining area - this was purchased and delivered a few days before I staged and styled the home.
The layout of the furniture in the living and open plan kitchen dining area had a change about to enhance the flow of the rooms and to create open space (and better real estate photos!). I find most times, clients are surprised by the way simply moving their existing furniture around makes more sense to the space. Often the comment is made, ah why didn't I think to put the sofa there!
I added the finishing touches by way of art and decorative pieces, a few well chosen furniture pieces, rugs and cushions. The end result was a cohesive space, well suited to family living.
This home sold quickly, with my clients and real estate agents happy with the price achieved. Winning!
