This Pukekohe property came with a colour palette that definitely kept us on our toes. With blue carpet, a maroon tile and cream kitchen, and plenty of personality already built into the home, the challenge was finding a way to make all those colours feel intentional and cohesive rather than competing for attention. Instead of fighting the existing palette, we worked with it, introducing complementary tones, textures and styling pieces that helped tie the different spaces together. The result is a home that feels layered, considered and cohesive, while still letting those original character features do their thing. Sometimes the best staging isn’t about neutralising everything, it’s about knowing how to make the colours that are already there work.
